Jonathan Canfield
Director of Media & Communications
Jonathan has served as our Media & Communications Director since August 2007. A native of Nacogdoches, he earned a degree in Radio/TV Communications from Stephen F. Austin State University and has been actively involved serving at First Baptist throughout the years. His service has ranged from leading worship and providing technical support to assisting with a variety of ministries.
Jonathan is passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a visually-driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media. He is committed to equipping the ministries of the church to use digital media as powerful tools for worship and outreach.
Jonathan and his wife, Becca, were married in 2010 and have two sons, Andrew and Luke.
