Series Information

The recent pornographic movie, Fifty Shades if Grey, reminds us once again of the wrong message that is being given to our society as to the proper use of a God-given gift such as love, romance, marriage and sex. Movies, television programs, and even commercials are the same way.

In this four-part sermon series entitled “The Bible is Not Grey” we will see what God has wanted us to understand from the beginning about love, romance, marriage, and sex, is profoundly, breathtakingly beautiful. In his powerful paraphrase of the Bible called The Message, Eugene Peterson puts Hebrews 13:4 this way: “Honor marriage, and guard the sacredness of sexual intimacy between wife and husband. God draws a firm line against casual and illicit sex.”

Whether you are 9 or 19 or 91, male or female, curious or mature in love, it is my prayer that God the Holy Spirit will bless the preparation and presentation of these important subjects.
