Truth Versus the World

October 10, 2021 | Dr. Noel Dear

Passage: Ephesians 5:6-14

Series Information

Faith is expressed in worship, prayer, Bible study, baptism, fasting, communion, and a hundred other religious practices. But for many, faith stops there. There is a impenetrable wall between what they consider to be their spiritual life and everyday living with its complex relationships, nuanced viewpoints, and practical, real world choices. The problem with that common view is that is not the Christian faith presented in Scripture. Biblical Christianity affects every part of life. It determines the nature of our relationships, the basis of our viewpoints, and it changes our choices, behaviors, and lifestyle.

In this next part of our study of Ephesians, we will focus on Christian Ethics, which is how the Bible says our faith should impact our daily living. We will confront common deceptions and strongholds that prevent us from fully embracing the abundant life Christ promises those who follow him.
