How to Be an Agent of Change

Passage: Nehemiah 2:1-3:32

Preacher: Dr. Noel Dear

Series: Nehemiah Principles of Success

Summary

In this message, we will learn what made Nehemiah different and how we can be the rare agent of change in our community, church, and family.

Detail

In the fifth century BC, thousands of people saw the broken-down walls around the city of Jerusalem, yet none of them seemed to do anything to repair the walls. Every day, thousands of people walked through the rubble-strewn streets of the once beautiful City of David, yet no one had the either the desire or the wherewithal to clean things up. So, what made Nehemiah different? Why was he the wall-builder and not any one of the thousands who saw what he saw and walked where he walked?

In this message, we will learn the answer to this question and in doing so, learn how we can be the rare agent of change in our community, church, and family. (And again, we will see Jesus in the story of Nehemiah!)
