Palm Sunday is a day of anticipation. All the people are stirred up. There is something in the air. The mood is almost tense like a coil spring that has been pushed together and is ready to be released. Joy and excitement moves like radio waves between people. Something extraordinary was about to happen. BUT - had the people turned their anticipation into an expectation???
Expectations assumes personal desires and benefits come to be fulfilled. Anticipation longs to see the fulfillment of a trusted promise. How do you come to experience a life filled with the joy of anticipation?
