Media Ministry

The Media Ministry is the behind-the-scenes team that provides technical support for the ministries of First Baptist Nacogdoches. Our mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a visually-driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries to use these tools for worship and outreach.

Technically, we handle audio, song lyrics, sermon notes, lighting, sermon recording, photography, video, and more. Spiritually, our goal is to serve the congregation and community by delivering content with clarity, excellence, and minimal distraction—keeping the focus on worship and God’s Word.

We are blessed to broadcast our services (one-week delayed) on KTRE Channel 10 (ABC) every Sunday at 10:00am, providing a local church service for viewers in the Lufkin/Nacogdoches area.

Teams

Audio Team

The Audio Team makes sure every word and note is heard clearly—both in person and online. Whether mixing sound for the live congregation or for the broadcast audience, you’ll help create an excellent listening experience. This team supports musicians, vocalists, and speakers, ensuring that the message and music are delivered with clarity and excellence.

Presentation Computer

The Presentation Team helps lead worship by running the computer that displays song lyrics, sermon notes, videos, and graphics on the screens. This role keeps the congregation engaged and able to follow along throughout the service. You’ll work closely with the worship leader and pastor to make sure every element is timed just right.

Broadcast Team

The Broadcast Team ensures our church services are captured and shared with excellence. Team members operate cameras, direct shots, and coordinate with the audio and presentation teams to keep everything running smoothly. From live streaming to TV broadcasts, you’ll help bring our worship services to life for those watching from home, in the hospital, or anywhere in the world.

Photography Team

The Photography Team captures moments that tell the story of what God is doing in our church. From baptisms and baby dedications to fellowships and special events, you’ll help preserve memories and share them with our congregation and community. Your work helps us celebrate and reflect on the life of our church family.
